Improving Our Time

I believe that being thoughtful and authentic are key to thriving in today’s virtual world.  My site is a place where unique perspectives can lead to refreshing insights, where learning is encouraged by seeking truth out of the best books.

I am enthusiastic about many different topics.  I have a varied educational and professional background, involving many opportunities for speaking in large and small groups.  At the encouragement of others I decided to begin publishing my thoughts and experiences more openly.  Among my interests are history, aviation, metal and wood working, model rocketry, and my homebuilt airplane.

Forsaking much of the world's media in exchange for deeper connections is what brought me to start writing online.  I am currently a graduate student, employed in nonprofit social services, residing in Missouri with my family.  To see what I’ve been up to, look around and learn more of what makes me tick.
